Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to your use of NJTD.xyz and its related pages, services and project demonstrations (the Website). By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. About this Website
The Website is operated by Nathan John, trading as NJTD. It provides information about my work, skills and projects, together with ways to contact me and request access to selected private repositories.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the Website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- use the Website in a way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its systems or any private repository;
- introduce malicious code, interfere with the Website, or use automated tools to place an unreasonable load on it; or
- submit information that is false, unlawful, harmful or belongs to someone else without permission.
3. Repository access requests
A request for access to a private GitHub repository is not a guarantee of access. Requests may be reviewed, refused or withdrawn at my discretion and remain subject to GitHub's terms and policies. You must provide accurate information and must not share repository content or access with anyone who is not authorised.
4. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the text, branding, original graphics, code and other material on the Website belong to Nathan John or the relevant rights holder. You may view the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, modify, republish, sell, distribute or use Website material commercially without prior written permission, except where the law permits it.
Some projects may contain third-party material or be released under separate open-source licences. Those licences apply to the relevant material and take precedence where applicable.
5. Information and external links
Website content is provided for general information and may change without notice. It is not professional, legal, financial or other specialist advice. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; I do not control or endorse their content, availability or privacy practices.
6. Availability and security
I do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, accurate or free from errors or harmful code. You are responsible for using suitable security software and for keeping any credentials or access links confidential.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or any linked service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
8. Privacy and cookies
Any personal information submitted through the Website is handled as described in the applicable privacy information. The Website does not use or store any cookies but may use third-party services that set their own cookies. You should review the relevant third-party privacy and cookie notices before using those services.
9. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms when the Website or applicable law changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. Your continued use of the Website after an update means that you accept the revised terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under the law of the country where you live.
